Nephrology, Kidney Program

Program Description

The nephrology program treats a range of problems in patients with acute renal failure, mild renal insufficiency, end-stage renal disease and transplantation. The UMHC artificial kidney unit continues to provide acute dialysis for eight to 20 inpatients per day.

Clinical Team

The program works through the ongoing dedication of board-certified nephrologists and medical staff.
