The thyroid, a butterfly-shaped gland located in the lower neck, is a vital endocrine gland that secretes hormones that regulate the body’s metabolism. Thyroid hormones affect the rate at which the body burns calories to produce energy and also affect many organs and body systems, including heart rate and function. We treat all thyroid-related conditions ranging from benign nodules to cancer. We offer a total treatment approach, specializing in multidisciplinary care, accurate diagnostics, multi-modality treatment, and follow-up care.
Our head and neck specialist/surgeon is a key member of this multi-disciplinary team that includes three endocrinologists and an oncologist. Our team has specialized training and many years of experience treating thyroid diseases and cancer.
