When you are a patient in one of our hospitals, you may receive two bills: one from the hospital and one from the physician(s) who provided your care. Bills from the hospital(s) will come from University Hospitals and Health System. Bills from the physician(s) will come from University Physicians.

Insurance plans information

We have listed insurance plans accepted by UMHC. Insurance plans, coverages and contracts change frequently, and yours may not be listed here. It is your responsibilty as the patient to verify that your insurance plan will cover medical services provided by UMHC physicians and facilities. Contact your insurer to verify coverage.
